La Jolla has had a decades long legacy of success and character building in the community. But recent progression has been notable.
La Jolla XC boys placed 3rd in the San Diego CIF Championships, narrowly missing a berth to State. They did send two individuals! The year before, we lost San Diego CIF Championships by 1 point in 2023. That team went on to place 14th (Division 4) at the CIF State Championships.
La Jolla Girls XC have won the past three championships. They are led by two-time defending Champion Chiara Dailey. The girls have placed 4th and 3rd the previous two years at the State Championships.
La Jolla XC has two objectives for its athletes:
